But there is NO maximum leash length at all for ordinary walking elsewhere in Nashville — §8.04.010 and §8.04.110 define and prohibit running at large without specifying a leash. So the same walk is under a six-foot rule inside a park and under a general control duty on the street outside it. Carry six feet and you're compliant everywhere.
